Appletree is using so far as the only shaper a high density water resistant foam. If it should happen the board gets a damage it absolutly does not take any water. Your board keeps to be light. You even can enjoy your ride after this happened. After your ride or even days later you repair it with epoxy raisin and all is good again.

The foam does not contain air. So it does no need pressure equalization as other boards, for air travels and hot beaches.
